Max, Loes and Noëlla champions

13th Flemish championship in Aalst

Saturday July 30 the 13th edition of the Flemish Championship was organised in Baardegem (Aalst). A grey sky but luckily no rain til 7pm, because only then the last champions were known.
About 30 of the 171 registrations stayed absent.

The championship for colts of one and two year old was won by Fideel van 't Roetaart (s. Matteo van 't Rietenhof) of Dominique Van Riet from Londerzeel. Also in the female youth series the champion titles went to this stable. The five series of one year old fillies had a champion in Elza van Vollezele van Vlaams-Brabant (s. Matteo) and Fie van 't Rietenhof van Vlaams-Brabant (s. Matteo) was the best of all the two and three year old mares.

As usual there were separate series for mares with and without foal. The bay Noëlla van het Keiberghof (s. Fred van 't Leeg) of Eric Verwilst from Deinze became champion of the mares without foal.
The other title went to Loes van 't Rivierhof (s. Peron van Dedem) of Luc and Ignaece Imschoot from Beervelde.

The four year old Max van Schermershoek van Vlaams-Brabant (s. Matteo) of Johan Vereertbrugghen from Opwijk won the title of the stallions.
